There are around 200 traders at Gemfest who offer earth's, treasures, gems. jewellery, crystal. minerals, fossils and lots of other goodies. You can join in the fun and have the opportunity to win thousands of dollars of wonderful prizes, lucky daily gate draw, in the Stake-a-claim game and the Silent Auction. The "Jewels of the Outback' showcases rare and magnificent sapphires, gems, and jewellery. There are demonstrations, lectures and workshops. Businesses and community groups in all four surrounding townships offer special festivities and entertainment, day and night through out Gemfest, and not to forget a spectacular fireworks display on Saturday night at Sapphire.
