Do you want to stay in a **** 4 STAR RATED holiday house, where you will privacy and plenty of room to move, including 2 bedrooms, lounge area, kitchen with a large modern refrigerator and well appointed bathroom including an automatic front loading washing machine. For a down to earth Gemfields experience, why not stay somewhere different, where you can be treated as one of the family, or do your own thing if you wish? We offer a 2 bedroom self contained unit which sleeps 5. You can opt for a tasty breakfast or dinner with the choice of eating with our family or by yourself. During the day you can fossick for sapphires and zircons on site where we will show you the ropes including identifying your gems, after which you might feel like a swim in our private pool. We encourage bird feeding, and have a relaxing entertainment area for you to enjoy a cool drink. Children are welcome.

‘The Friendly Fossickers Park’. The first accommodation venue when you reach Sapphire and the Gemfields we offer powered and unpowered camping/caravan sites including drive through sites, as well as cabin accommodation. Why not try your luck and utilize our fossicking expertise. We provide instruction, sapphire bearing wash, sieves and Willoughby to enhance your chances. You could also purchase a very reasonably priced licence and hire the equipment to explore the nearby Retreat Creek or designated public fossicking areas. While at our facility you are welcome to join in the daily happy hour with other guests, purchase groceries, take away food, gas, ice, DVD’s and lots more. All this is available in pleasant parkland setting with mown grass and clean amenities.
